POLITICA ŞI STRATEGIA UNIUNII EUROPENE PRIVIND TRANSPORTURILE MULTIMODALE
EUROPEAN UNION POLICIES AND STRATEGY REGARDING MULTIMODAL TRANSPORTATION

Summary/Abstract: In the European Union, the common market of transportation is a key element of sustainable development which is supposed to occur as soon as possible. In this respect, policies and strategies have been settled and important financial resources have been brought up.However, we notice that some member states have difficulties in accessing European funds and, consequently, in developing their multimodal transportation infrastructure.Our article aims at explaining these policies and strategies of development for intermodal transportation, as well as the manner in which the transportation infrastructure has been created in some countries belonging to the European Union.
