THE SYSTEM OF CHARACTERS IN VASILY BELOV’S WORKS

Summary/Abstract: The article analyzes the character system in the works of Vasily Belov. This system offers a description of the appearance of the characters of Belov, their inner world through the analysis of speech and deeds, compliance with universal moral and aesthetic values. Besides, the role of characters under consideration in disclosure of main themes in the writer’s works is examined. Also parallels with biographic facts of Belov’s are provided, and boundaries between a lyrical hero and an image of the author are considered.
