TERRORISM OF ISLAMIC EXTREMISTS

Summary/Abstract: In this paper, the author describes a phenomenon that is currently one of the most important threats, both nationally and internationally. This is a phenomenon terrorism conditioned by religious beliefs and quite often wrongly named Islamic terrorism. The right term to use in this context there is terrorism of fundamentalists, radicals or extremists Islamic. This adjective term for Islamic terrorism is necessary from the obvious reason. Not all Muslims are terrorists, and those who are not radicals condemn terrorism in line with the principle of non-violence. The author also takes up the difficult question of defining the concept of terrorism and sources, trends and the type of terrorism. The work also addressed general issues regarding the analysis of security culture and interpretation especially her first dimension regarding the core team values, norms, and beliefs called the mental-spiritual pillar. This layer of culture security has a significant impact on how to interpret the challenges threats organizing the behavior of the individual.
