Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is the economic evaluation of the effects of interventionism on the agricultural land market in the light of the Austrian school of economics theories. The analysis refers mainly to the policy of forming the agricultural system, which constitutes a specialised type of a land allocation policy. The essence of the Austrian school economists’ view on interventionism boils down to the fact that it introduces coercion in place of voluntary cooperation. This leads to the redistribution of wealth and a general decline in social productivity.
