Summary/Abstract: Printed in Königsberg in 1680, the Calvinist catechism Pradzia pamoksla del maʒu weykialu must have found its way to England soon after. By 1703, when the only exemplar known today was bought for Sir Hans Sloane’s library in London, a handwritten Lithuanian–English glossary went with it: the ‘London Glossary’. A short – although quite useful – description has been given by Alfonsas Laučka, obviously based on the microfilm referred to by Juozas Balčikonis4 and in LBP,5 but the ‘London Glossary’ has never been edited. The following article offers an edition and critical evaluation of the text, based on an autopsy of C.38.b.47, in order to make the full text available to scholars.
