Summary/Abstract: Alain Tasso, born in Beirut, is a French language poet, author of several collections of poems and essays. Through his verses, Tasso reveals the quintessence of his writing and his thought which sticks to the relation between, on the one hand, the man, the language and the memory and, on the other hand, poetry like supreme and sovereign value. The poetic work of Tasso speaks, intrinsically, only of poetry, in an attempt to reveal what is poetry and about the engagement of the poet closest to this one.
