Report on the Activities of the Major Seminary of the Salesian Society in Ląd Nad Wartą in the Academic Year 2015/2016

Summary/Abstract: For the Leszek's year, the Higher Seminary of the Salesian Society will celebrate the 65th anniversary of formation and education. It is here, at the old Cistercian monastery, that the subsequent years of young Salesians are being formed into the priesthood and religious life as part of the post-novitiate, ie the next, after the novitiate, stage of religious formation. Within its framework, philosophical and pedagogical studies are carried out, and the formators can continue the process of discernment and development of vocations as well as spiritual formation and education of young Salesians. In the 2015/16 academic year, additional contexts entered this process: the Year of Mercy and the 1050th anniversary of the Baptism of Poland.
