Summary/Abstract: This article presents the theoretical hypotheses and foundations of the Freedom Writers method. The experience of the Freedom Writers seems to bear strong similarity to the experience of Carl Rogers. The article presents, in particular, the dimension of the “freedom to learn” in the Freedom Writers method and in the thought of Carl Rogers.
