Summary/Abstract: Humankind has been living the most profound and comprising technical, scientific, informational and telecommunicational revolution which has marked the movement of all structures of human society and the movement of the society as a whole. The breaches already produced and those that are to follow give sense to the great discontinuities that will visibly mark the universal geography, map and history. The financial and economic crisis and the ecological one, associated with the more and more numerous manifestations of the political and moral crisis, incommensurately multiply the uncertainties, risks and dangers that hit the historical fortresses with increasing force in more and more numerous points of Earth’s geography. And it seems that despite the revolutions that are taking place, the unsolved problems that are waiting to be settled are more numerous than any time before within the history of human society. The dangers that look out for humankind are so big that they menace not only the upward movement, the progress of the society as a whole and of its organic structures, but even the existence, in other words the survival of the human society on our planet. Worried of this perspective, wise and luminous minds of the world consider that the way the humankind should follow is to establish the human society on the basis of scientific cognition and authentic values of the spirit. The same wise minds draw attention and in fact warn us that the road we should follow is extremely sinuous, full of abrupt ups and downs and barriers very difficult to surpass or avoid. The economic and social universe also registers numerous and profound convulsions in its most formations. One is the so called labour force (or labour) as named by the economists – the main production factor in any type of economy known so far. Our forerunners brought important contributions to the research and cognition of the problematic of this production factor; in Mendeleev’s board of knowing the labour force there are a few columns that are waiting to be filled in by new elements. The field of the unknown is extremely large, over passing the limits set by some of us. In fact, this truth has been acknowledged together with and according to the evolution of the society and its economy, since new problems are discovered and some of the paradigms are no longer complying with the realities, and some of them are only partially corresponding to them.
