Summary/Abstract: The emigration from Thessaloniki and the consequences of the Second Balkan War for the separate members of the Bulgarian family Tapkov is in the focus of the paper. The study is based on unpublished family documents only, property of members of the aforementioned family. It is examined briefly the professional and social activities of the brothers Dragan and Kiril, posing the issue of the religious and national identity before and after emigration.
