Summary/Abstract: The aim of this article is to present the main threats resulting from international migrations to the internal security of the state. The text is divided into three main parts. The first part presents the links between migration and the negative phenomena such as terrorism, political extremism, organized crime and a strong social divisions (which can lead to acts of aggression). The second part is devoted to the phenomenon of illegal migration, which can be perceived as one on the main challenges to internal security of the state. In the third part author describes what actions can be taken by the states to reduce the risks associated with migration flows.
