JOB NAMES AND OCCUPATIONS ENTERED IN ROMANIAN ON THE TURKISH BRANCH

Summary/Abstract: This article analyzes the way in which the words that refer to trades and occupations entered the Romanian language on the Turkish branch. Words of Turkish origin are relatively easy to recognize, as they have an emphasis on the last syllable, but there are also Turkish words in Romanian that do not respect the characteristic and quasi-generic oxytone.However, it should also be noted that a number of words from the Persian and Arabic lexic backgrounds entered the Romanian language on the Turkish branch, some of them being fixed by bilingualism.
