Summary/Abstract: The Organisation of Militia Family was established in 1968 and operated actively from 1969 till 1989. The members of the organisation closely cooperated with the League of Women which later became the League of Polish Women. The representatives of the organisation attended the meetings and conferences of the League, and participated in its program taking part in numerous initiatives and activities. The program of Militia Families was adjusted to the political and economic situation in the country; therefore, during the political crisis their members supported the government and promoted the ideas of communism with more intensity than ever before. The fall of communism brought an end to pro-government organizations in Poland including the Organization of Militia Family.
