Summary/Abstract: Vojislav Radovanovic was great Serbian geographer during 20th century. He was a follower of geographical school founded by Jovan Cvijic. Under the direction of Jevto Dedijer, Radovanovic began research of Macedonia in 1914. He completed research with his first major work, doctoral thesis ’’Tikves and Rajec’’, published by Serbian Ethnographic Bulliten in 1924. In addition to the works of geography and ethnology, Cvijic, Dedijer and Radovanović made the great contribution to the development of anthropogeography in Serbia. He was the winner Jovan Ducic awards.
