A Research on the Constraints Factors of University Students' Participation in Recreational Sports Activities

Summary/Abstract: The aim of this research is to determine what are the constraint factors that prevent university students from participating in recreational sports activities and to offer solutions in this regard. 473 students participated in the study. Normality and Reliability tests were performed on the obtained data with descriptive statistics. The most important constraint on students not being able to participate in sports recreational activities is that they are not informed about sporting activities on campus. Another important finding is that students are far from the activity areas of the places they are staying and the transportation is inadequate.
