Summary/Abstract: Mankind has been interested in art in which deal of art of sculpture has a distinct place, since the beginning of history. From beginning to invention of writing human being expressed their commentaries through with paintings and sculptures. Starting from prehistoric eras, looking at development of sculpture which appeared with existence of human being, we witnessed with that it has been at the forefront all cultures. In later periods of history art of sculpture has been rid of impacts of religious expressions and has been joined into life. Art start to attain scientific credentials with Renaissance art and baroque art periods, especially, by works of Michelangelo and his successor Bernini’s and by artists lived in XX. Century such as Rodin. When we look at development of Turkish sculpture art, we can see that it is divided into three periods. The first is Pre-Islamic one which is formed by gravestones called Bal Bal. The second one is Islamic Period in which nobody can see any artistic sculpture because of being under religious rules that prohibit art of sculpture. And the last one is Modern Period which affected by European Modernization Movements. Impacts of which can be seen all aspect of life and also in all sorts of art, starting from French Revolution to today's, as well. In our study, works of the four leading modern sculptors of Turkish art who are belongs to Republican Era, called Ali Hadi BARA, Zühtü MÜRİDOĞLU, Şadi ÇALIK, İlhan KOMAN, are analyzed on the base of comparative model.
