Summary/Abstract: The paper presents the problem of liquidity in enterprises in Poland. It has been pointed out that the progressive liquidity risk, expressed inter alia by payment obstructions, requires limiting it. Source literature clearly indicates the shape of the risk management process, but companies do not attach importance to liquidity measures inside the company. The liquidity risk management process is often in post and is reduced to the eviction of already overdue receivables. Hence, it is still very important to take actions that would increase the interest of entrepreneurs in reducing the liquidity risk before its occurrence.
