Acquisition of State-owned Agricultural Land – Remarks to the Amendment to the Act of Agricultural Land Management by the State Treasury (Selected Issues)

Summary/Abstract: The introduction of the new regulations limiting the sale of the agricultural land from the Agricultural Property Stock of the State Treasury is aimed at counteracting the non-agricultural use of agricultural land. New regulation can raise questions, i.e. as to moratorium concerning the sale of land. New rules of tender and new restrictions concerning land area procured from the Agricultural Property Stock of the State Treasury are described. This article also discusses issues regarding legal consequences of the violation of new regulations. Also, new contractual obligations of the buyers of the state agricultural property need to be described
