Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the results of a study of Russian connectors including ne tol’ko (not only) and their French translation equivalents based on a parallel Russian-French supracorpora database. It proves considerable formal diversity of these connectors (64 discursive variants in Russian and 73 in French). Also, it is shown that they are able to combine their central meaning, non-singularity, with other types of logical and semantic relations: gradation, contrast, generalization and specification.
