Survey on the implementation of the Library 2.0 principles in Romanian libraries

Summary/Abstract: This article presents the development of Library 2.0 and the way it was introduced in libraries. The main characteristics of this concept are presented along with the importance of it’s implementation. The library’s need to adapt to the users requests is stressed alongside the need to assume some of the Internet’s functions,while maintaining it’s strengths: the quality of information, the good organization of the documents etc. Finally there is a connection made between Ranganathan laws and Library 2.0.
