Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the factual situation around the existence of Radio Bulgaria. It comments the normative framework of the public mission of Bulgarian National Radio (BNR), which includes the creation and broadcasting of programs abroad. It examines the legal frameworkof the compulsory administrative measures in case of nonfulfillment of the license requirements. It establishes inaction on the part of the Council for Electronic Media andnot exercising over BNR’s compliance with the license for the last five years.
