Characteristics of the media ecosystem in Bulgaria through the prism of protests (2012-2013)

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the study is to trace how traditional journalism lost public trust in the authenticity of the information on behalf of the blogs and therefore become dependent on them in their work.On the one hand are considered electronic sites of newspapers, television stations, radio stations and news agencies, acting as traditional media, on the other hand - blogs and social networks.It can be concluded that the mutual influence between traditional journalism and blogging is increasing as public trust in favor of blogs, especially in extreme situations, such as social,environmental and any other type of protests in the country in 2012 and 2013.
