Protection of tourist services buyers .

Summary/Abstract: This article introduces issues related to the protection of tourist services buyers in Poland. The author states that existing regulations do not suitably secure consumer rights (e.g. repayment of the price, repatriation of tourists) in the event of the organiser’s insolvency. The author introduces data on Polish tourism market, current legal basis of tourists protection and puts forward a proposal on the measures to be taken in order to properly secure consumer rights.
