Summary/Abstract: Te issues explored in the presented study constitute a section of more extensive works on the feeling of identity among learners from schools with Polish as the teaching language in Belarus, Ukraine and the Czech Republic. What is focused here are the characteristics of the right of Polish national minorities in these countries to learn and to be educated in the language of their minority. Poles as a national minority are legally guarded in this field by appropriate documents. However, the way and level of their implementation is different, especially with regard to education.
