Ethno-demographic Characteristics and the Position of Serbs in Croatia

Summary/Abstract: This paper gives an overview of the demographic characteristics and the position of the Serbs in Croatia. The emphasis is on the period between in 1991., and 2011. At the end of the detail exposed position of the Serbs in the Croatian society and what are the demographic perspective. When comparing the data have been some difficulties. Methodology 1991 census., and the 2001 census., and 2011th differ in terms of the definition of resident population. The current territorial organization of Croatia is different compared to the pre-war. Changed the boundaries almost all municipalities, some cadastral communities, and was changed to a smaller number of placenames. Some data is not available, so the comparison is missing.
