Summary/Abstract: In the context of the transformations of positional relationships of security factors towards a nation or coalition: political, military, economic, social, environmental, infrastructure and intelligence, new dimensions are contemplated over contemporary conflicts. Although the risks continue to diminish, we see an unusual evolution of international events in the broader security spectrum of the past. For this, we appreciate the new ways of rethinking and identifying solutions to the safety and security of our own forces in a broader spectrum of threats than the classic ones known. Following, case studies such as the inclusion of Crimea in the Russian Federation and the immigration crisis in the Syria conflict area, we have formulated a series of pertinent conclusions on the transformation trends of the current security environment, namely we have identified the prospects for threats to the state of peace and regional and international security.
