Summary/Abstract: The text conceptualises the methodical projection as a fundamental activity, aimed at organising an effective learning process. It presents a project for studying ancient Greek poetry, as well as the poem “Love” by Sappho studied in 8th grade. Its rationales are multi-dimensional: the Literature standard and the curriculum for grade 8th; the cognisance that the traditional view of knowledge is that it is something that can be pre-prepared and given to the student – a passive receiver of knowledge; the constructivist idea about the social construction of knowledge in a dialogic learning environment, where the learners are ‘subjects’ and they are equals; the concept for reading literacy and literary competence; as well as the activities that develop them.
