Summary/Abstract: Competition is at the center of much debate on how to explain the nature of today's economic rules. The nature of the competition varies depending on the characteristics of the industrial environment, the competitive attitudes of the firms and the economic conditions of countries. One of the competitive approaches is to see competition as "meaningless". In this study, Blue Ocean Strategy (Blue Ocean Strategy), which proposes competitive advantages to companies struggling in competition and emphasizes leaving behind competition, was evaluated in terms of strategy development paradox. The study also was focused on examples of the blue ocean strategy through examples from the world and Turkey.
