About one Manuscript – convolute from the Collection of the Metropolitan Church in Samokov

Summary/Abstract: The following article presents a manuscript – convolute, kept in the Metropolitan Church of Samokov. The manuscript contains three different parts: the first is a liturgical fragment with late Byzantine notation; the second contains folia with a book-keeping notes and the third one is a copy of a Greek old printed book (only selected pieces). The most interesting object is the third part of the convolute. The text is dedicated to the gods and god nesses of the Slavs. It is transcription of a Greek book published in Moscow, but the original was not identified. The text is an important evidence for the influence of the printed books on the traditional popular culture.
