Summary/Abstract: Crimea which was annexed by the Tsarist Russia ın 1783 became the target of Russian colonisation policy. In this study, economic, demographic, cultural and administrative results of Russian colonisation process will be refered from the eyes of the travelers who visited Crimea between 1783-1850. At the end of the colonisation period, sources which have economic values came under the control of Russians. From the cultural point, Russians tried to cut the ties of tatars from the past, forced the theme to migrate, and a new administrative structure came to life.
