Influence of Thermal Power Plants on the Enviroment and Possible Ways of Protection

Summary/Abstract: Environmental awareness of citizens is still low, it is necessary to pay more attention to education and solving problems of pollution of water, air and soil. If all of developmental potential was focused on environmental protection and the environment in which citizens live, there would be a reduction in harmful effects in population. A large number of cities in Serbia are affected by the impact of thermal power plants and the emission of harmful gases.
