Summary/Abstract: Serbia in the time of St. Stephen (known as High) and the son of Prince Lazarus, the period immediately after the Kosovo struggle of many generations in the former Yugoslavia is usually shown as the beginning of the end of the rule of the principality of the Principality of Serbia, the time when the "famous" period of 500 years begins under the Turks. However, after the tragedy in Kosovo, Serbia was still in existence until 1456, which is a full sixty-seven years. And during that time, she retained her in a dignified way, thanks to the role of the prince Milica, her rather independent position within the great Ottoman Empire. Certainly, Serbia gave its tribute (to conqueror Bajazit), but it had its independence, which was reflected in: the state, the church, and the education. Thus, defeated Serbia experienced a revival in that period. The path Stefan High has chosen is full of intersections and dissonances, but is based on the spirit and body, mind and heart, music and harmony, i.e. the entire fund. He did not exaggerate anything, ready to hear, thoughtfully answered, but also to defend himself and fight for his master Bajazit. Vazal Knights serve honorably, but never celebrates master. Everything written and created by Stefan Visoki and his contemporaries resonates with Serbian patriotism and Orthodox spirituality, because the spirit is not subdued even though the battles of military and political lost. Serbia developed as an independent state in material and spiritual terms. Parallels that could be derived from this period are: tax was collected from real income. The Serbian land was not sold but it was leased. They traded from Venice, Dubrovnik, Pest, Sofia ... Serbia secured safe transport of silver to the mentioned cities. Taxes were also paid for the army. In the Serbian court, the rank of St John the Leader was reading. They practiced martial arts. Soothing Orthodox music was heard. From the Hungarian Empire, the city of Belgrade was given the name of the white city. It moves to the capital of Serbia. The Serbian court brings the most eminent philosophers of that time. Serbian musicians played at the Venetian court. It builds a large number of monasteries, of which: Manasija, Koporin, Kalenić, Neupara, Veluće, Vraćevšnica... Despot Stephen wrote Slovo ljubve probably dedicated to his brother Vukan.
