Summary/Abstract: The author briefly presents a series of recent aspects in the current geopolitical context on some strong points as well as internal vulnerabilities and external threats of the military communication and informatics systems and networks developed inthe Romanian Armed Forces since 1997.There are exposed the evolutions in austerity and hostility conditions of the main operational and technical sequels of the Romanian Armed Forces Transmissions System -STAR (RTP/RMNC), as well the influences of new technologies in the C4I systems on the planning and conductment of operation (battle).
