Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the article is to present research, covering the period 2010–2015, in co-authorship, including the number of articles, the volume of the texts and the affiliation of the authores in selected Polish informatological periodicals. Two Poland-based scholarly periodicals were described in a comprehensive manner: “Praktyka i Teoria Informacji Naukowej i Technicznej” [“The Practice and the Theory of Scholarly and Technical Information”] and “Zagadnienia Informacji Naukowej” [“The Problems of Scholarly Information”]. On the basis of theoretical considerations four research problems were indicated. The bibliometrical analysis used the fundamental mathematical calculations on the basis of tables of contents and the content of the articles in the periodicals. Research proved that the notion of co-authorship is not a completely familiar phenomenon, which seems to be confirmed by the calculations. One may infer from the complete register that in comparisonwith the years 2000–2009, the trends of multi-author publications increase by 5%. The conclusions enabled the presentation of suggestions for further research.
