Summary/Abstract: One of the main features of human society’s progress in the last thirty years is the development of technology. All walks of life have been influenced by new technology and we consider this to be a positive thing. Nevertheless, there are certain situations in which technology cannot replace the old methods, but only support them. This paper analyses one of those particular cases when technology should be used with care, namely the singing lessons which are taught through electronic means of communication, without a direct contact between teacher and student.
