Summary/Abstract: The „triangle of fire” – Mărăşti, Mărăşeşti, Oituz – from World War I became a significant moment of universal history, together with Marshal Constantin Prezan, who was one of the main strategists of Entente. Romanian troops’ victories in the three battles contributed substantially to defeating the armed forces of Central Powers and to accomplishing the Union on December 1st, 1918 and Greater Romania. This year, in summer, we are going to celebrate the centenary of these three heroic battles won by the glorious Romanian Army.
