OPEN EDUCATION RESOURCES FOR PORTUGUESE FOR FOREIGNERS

Summary/Abstract: Open education resources for Portuguese for foreigners. Language teaching has always benefited from technological gadgets, from audio and video materials to DVD movies. Nowadays, this material is in a digital environment, along with interactive digital books and a wide range of educational free games available on the internet. The purpose of this article is to disseminate these open educational resources, which can diversify the didactic options of teachers, as well as encourage the learning of students. By showing advances in available resources, the text discusses reliability criteria and ways to combat plagiarism. The conclusion points to the need to overcome the mere transposition of traditional teaching into a digital context and seek effective innovations for the language teaching.
