Summary/Abstract: The aim of our essay is to analyse and to reveal the secrets of one of Ionescu' hidden identities, an author who can mask behind many notations structured in two axis: the inside and outside, the usually vulnerable identity and the otherness which is incomprehensible. The private literary diary is still considered to be somwhere at the borders of the mainstream literature, in a place in which authenticity and the aspiraton towards it seem to be the guiding principles. Ionescu is concerned more about himself than the world, his constant attempt was to understand his own self, and in the end, the author achieves a true and deep soul-searching. Published when Ionescu was already in France, he is one of those diaries which were not intended for publishing, thus employing a surprizing instance of authenticity.
