The History of the State Archive of Sibiu

Summary/Abstract: Some papers have been written on the files of the Sibiu Archive, but little attention has been paid to the conscientious activity of the maintainers of this precious historical material, to the archivists who served the city's patriciate. Sibiu's privileges and the demands constructed from them were based on the documents well kept in the city archives. This explains the attention paid to the archives and the work of the archivists.The work of these archivists over the course of five centuries attempts to describe this essay.
