Summary/Abstract: The article examines the use of Leningrad churches during the anti-religious campaign of the 1930s. Much attention is paid to the fate of the Smolny cathedral, the Church of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ (Savior on the Blood Church), the Church of Saint Nicholas and Alexander Nevsky and the Church of Simeon and Anna.
