Summary/Abstract: The attitude of the Czech (Slovak) public and, therefore, the Czechoslovak state towards the Jewish population after the end of the Second World War it was full of contradictions. The existing approach to this minority has transformed, as elsewhere in Europe, reports of her persecution during the war. It was already clear that the persecution of Jews could not be compared to the persecution of other groups of the population.
