About ricochet damage

Summary/Abstract: The ricochet damage is a certain, direct, personal, autonomous damage caused to the indirect victims, who are the family or relatives of the direct victim, due to the latter’s death; this damage may occur either as a pecuniary damage, consisting in the dispossession of the dependant or entitled to be supported of the subsidies paid for this purpose by the deceased person, or as a non-pecuniary special purpose damage, consisting in the psychical pain produced to the individuals who, upon death, were involved in a close affection relationship with the deceased person.
