Summary/Abstract: Compulsory purchase (eminent domain, expropriation) is a form of deprivation or restriction of ownership of real estate that occurs to the public interest. The need for expropriation occurs when the transfer of property can not come to agreement with the owner Expropriation occurs in almost all countries under different names, but it is characteristic for all legal systems that there is always the same or similar purpose for which the property is taken. It is the construction of some objects that are of public interest.
