Summary/Abstract: We are thus passing through the celebratory year dedicate to confessors who, throughout the time of hardship of the previous century, have suffered in communist prison cells. The multiple nuances of this phenomenon, as well as the large number of those having confessed show that this research has yet to reach an end and that it must be continued with utter care, responsibility and veneration. Each of the confessors followed their own path that, in order to be highlighted and known, requires a particular research undertaken by true judgment and without any prejudice. One of these confessors was Traian Dorz, who went on to suffer in communist prisons for 17 years, during which time he remained faithful and adamant to their Christian and Orthodox convictions. Anyone reading their autobiography, which describes the route of their confession, can only be deeply marked by the strength and faith in Christ shown by the confessor.
