Summary/Abstract: This paper explores certain puzzles pertaining to death. The puzzles can be described as metaphysical. The primary focus here will not be on moral problems. Rather, the focus will be on the more basic and abstract problems concerning the nature of death. Briefly, this paper deals with the metaphysics of death, as opposed to the moral issues pertaining to death.
