Summary/Abstract: The article discusses syntactic structures, typical of the old Polish language, in which the predicate was used in the form of a feminine adjective. New research tools are suggested in order to characterize the syntactic properties of such forms in a more precise way. Additionally, corpus studies will allow to thoroughly describe the changes of such structures throughout their four-centuries’ existence in the Polish language. The article also contains sample analysis of the material gathered in {The Electronic Corpus of 17th- and 18th-century Polish texts (up to 1772)}.
