Summary/Abstract: The Husserl Archives in Leuven were established in 1939, shortly after Husserl’s death. Professor H. L. Van Breda secretly brought Husserl’s manuscripts from Freiburg to Leuven in order to prevent their destruction by the National Socialist authorities. Archives in Leuven now have all original manuscripts and also are responsible for the publication of Husserl’s philosophical work. In collaboration with the archives in Freiburg and Cologne, The Husserl Archives in Leuven have already published 42 volumes of Husserliana. For this reason, the Archives naturally attract many Husserl scholars from around the world. One of them is prof. Nicolas de Warren with whom we are talking today.
