Summary/Abstract: This paper is about a massive migration towards Vojvodina which was caused by economic, and particularly, agrarian motives. This migration began shortly after colonization. Inhabitants of Bosnia and Herzegovina were the most numerous among the settlers who were mostly rural people and who firstly turned to agrarian occupations and rural milieus. This was the last example of a classic migration from the mountain and agrarian-overcrowded regions towards Vojvodina. It is estimated that it was most intensive between 1955 and 1965. Later migrations were more often caused by urban motives.
