Summary/Abstract: If we have to do an analysis of the phases of manufacturing fighters programs for the fourth generation we understand that United States and Russia have completed about 12 years of study until the delivery of these types of aircrafts. Chinese state reproduced the Russian Sukhoi aircraft design to launch their own fighter, namely J-11B. However, the J-10 aircraft is clear evidence that the Chinese manufacturer is not quite experienced in aircraft production, requiring about 25 years to be able to convert the existing models. The capabilities of the fourth generation combat aircraft belonging to United States, are based on a history marked by multiple stages of technology development, while Russia has used the experience gained from the production of Sukhoi and MiG 29 to achieve the fourth generation of combat aircrafts.
