Main sources of pollution and its effects on health and the environment in Annaba

Summary/Abstract: The industrial city of Annaba suffers from pollution enormously.It has negatively affected the health of those inhabitants who haveproblems especially respiratory. We then asked ourselves questions on thevarious sources of pollution and the means of fighting against them. Afterinvestigation, we have found the sources of pollution that are theatmospheric pollution, the industry, the car traffic, the public landfill, thehigh voltage, the wastewater and the acoustic pollution.To fight against pollution, the city must have a center for satellitemanagement of natural hazards, technological risks and risks due tohuman activities. It is also necessary to mobilize all actors involved in thefield, to raise awareness of the inhabitants and to respect internationalregulations and national legislation.
